D’s Story
I am a single Mum of 3 and turned 40 last year. After 14 years in an abusive relationship and nine years doing it alone, I have finally found peace with myself and am proud of how far my little family have come.
The last 16 years have taken their toll on my body, but I still love that I can do so much and have plenty to look forward to.
I would love to capture this feeling of strength and growth as a woman in a beautiful piece of art so that I never forget to keep believing in myself and prove that all women are amazing. We must back ourselves even when others do not and be proud of our scars as they tell our story. ~ D x
